I love to design and make custom one-of-a-kind Handfasting chords.  The Handfasting is a Celtic tradition which hails from an ancient wedding custom, where the hands of the couple are tied with braided chord as part of a traditional marriage ceremony.  The terms “tying the knot”, “hand in marriage” and “bonds of matrimony” all hail from this ancient custom of Celtic Handfasting.

Each of my colored handfasting chord designs can be made in your choice of colors.  I also create new designs and sample color combinations from time to time.

How To Place Your Order

Orders are available for collection from our design studio in Ballyhooly, Co.Cork or posted to you anywhere in Ireland or the rest of the world.  

Once you have placed your order you should also send me a text message to my mobile +353 (0)85 831 3437 to let me know you have placed your order.  This will make sure your order is processed right away.

Lucky Charms

Lucky charms can be attached to your handfasting chord for the cost of €6 per pair.  We have celtic knot designs, hearts and various symbols. We will have photos of the charms available here soon.  Please don’t hesitate to phone us and ask.

Express Post

Postage within Ireland is included however if you wish to upgrade to Express Post, the additional fee for this is €10.
